FAQ

You may be looking for new ways of working, a particular expertise, or have a piece of work coming up that you don’t want to manage internally.

If you don’t have any HR expertise in your business, or need a specific HR skillset for a particular need, I can bring my track record of creating impact in the private, public and non-profit sectors to build people solutions in your business.

Working with a HR Consultant is a great opportunity to bring fresh ideas into your business, without committing to bringing on a permanent team member. HR Consultants like myself have often worked with different business and can bring a range of insight and ideas.

Well use our first 30 minutes to align on values, identify any problems your experiencing, and start to think ahead to solutions. It’s an opportunity for us both to find out if I’m the HR Consultant best suited to working with your business.

In the call, we’ll discuss the challenges you’re having and identify what’s really happening, stepping back to look at the bigger picture. This step is crucial to ensure we can address the root cause and avoid applying the dreaded sticky-plaster approach.

There may be a combination of short term wins and longer term strategies that will create impact. I may at this point suggest some straightforward solutions or more creative ways forward, depending on your needs!

Prior to consulting, I worked in a variety of roles across diverse industries. It started in FMCG Graduate Recruitment, progressing to Healthcare Generalist HR and Change Management, before a breadth of HR Business Partnering roles including Global FTSE 50 leadership. Every experience has led me to where I am now and contributes to the experience I share as a consultant. Find out more about me here.

A good place to start is with the 360 People + Culture Audit. We’ll look at everything from compliance to creating a great culture.

I’ll take a look at where your HR processes, policies, and practices are today. This will include an analysis of what’s working and where you have opportunities. Next, I’ll prepare a personalised report to include recommendations for addressing each of the opportunity areas identified. I’ll also include examples of best practice.

Then it’s up to you whether you want to take the report and move forward with the next steps yourself, or if you would like further support from me to put the solutions in place.
